Welcome to Starlight Occupational Therapy! My name is Shu Hua (Betty) Chen, and I am a licensed occupational therapist specializing in pediatric care. I ave been a pediatric occupational therapist for over 20 years. Originally from Taiwan, I now call Champaign/Urbana home. I started my journey as an occupational therapist to fulfill my passion in helping people with different abilities, skills and needs. I later found that I enjoy working with kids and their families the most. I earned my bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy in Taiwan, and post professional Master of Art in Occupational Therapy from New York University. I am passionate about helping children reach their full potential and achieve their developmental milestones through play-based therapy. At Starlight Occupational Therapy, we believe that every child has the ability to shine, and we work with families to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their child's specific needs and goals.
